The "Wizard of Waukesha" Les Paul turns 90 years old today. Les is known for inventing the solid body electric guitar and also introduced multi-track recording, sound-on-sound, overdubbing and reverb effects. His work greatly accelerated the advancement of studio recording. He is still playing regularly and has two books and two CD's that will be released in the upcoming months. A true innovator and the creator of one of the most important musical instruments of all time. When I visit my local magic shop I drive down Les Paul Parkway.
