I'm looking for anyone who knows the works of Max Maven. Not just a fan, but someone who is intiment with his work back to the mid 80's.
Any takers? |

What do you need from him? I'll ask him
(Had the pleasure to meet Max one hour ago, he'll perform tomorrow in Munich)

He has a really good book out (as you probably already know) titled Prism, which is a collection of I think 5 of his smaller books.
It is compiled with all types of his great mentalism feats... Speaking of Max Maven...I ran into a GREAT deal at a Beales outlet store in Florida when I was on vacation a few weeks ago. They had the Max Maven's Mindgames video (Still wrapped) for $2.99!!!!!!!!!!! I bought it at the drop of a hat and enjoyed it very much! |

Thank you so much gentlemen.
I've already talked with Max as well. I'm not really looking as much for material written by Max Maven. I'm more interested in third party material written about Max Maven around the mid 80's. Do you know of any good sources for reviews, interviews, etc. |

There is a bit of info on Max Maven in John Booth's book "Psychic Paradoxes," from the year 1984.

I think the real scoop would be to see photos and read a review of max doing his birthday clown act.

Strange Ceremonies and Spirit Theater, both by Eugene Burger, have wonderful interviews with Max.

Max maven is a fantastic individual. He filmed a canadian TV series that was based on math problems, and math games. He shot the series in my city -- so I have had the fortunate chance to have dinner with the man twice. It was awesome to sit and pick his brain -- he is a fountain of knowledge not only on magic but on life.
