I will second that. Sean your products are simply amazing, your service is wonderful and I love and appreciate your dedication and creativity in taking the art of magic in a new direction. I not only have and use your Dancing hank, but the reactions and the wonderful magic I create with it has been a real blessing. Thanks.

Just to add a little humor to this discussion. After I put that video of Sean and I on my site someone jokingly asked "where are the white tigers"? So we put this little video together.

Hi Ron,
Can you share the hook up for the double dancing hank routine? It's really cool! Thanks!

I won't go into a lot of detail but you need two of the Ultimate dancing hank gimmicks. Both gimmicks are rigged to the same hank.

Yes, thanks, I figured that out. Do I need special performance rights to copy this move from you and Sean?

I noticed that my dancing hank routine works best in a theater setting. The bigger the better. It is not effective for me when done close to the audience. I perform the complete routine of Sean Bogunia (Animation Sensation, Ultimate Dancing Hank and Impossible Hank).

If you are doing the ultimate dancing hank out doors and their is a slight breeze you can add weights to the corners of the Black cloth so it doesn't blow up revealing anything unusual hint hint
like fishing sinkers- you can sew them on the inside but for super windy conditions the white silk will look like a flag which may or may not be a good idea |

I work mainly outdoors doing a ton of festivals each year. With this in mind, I had to adapt my dancing hank routine to accomodate the often difficult weather and staging conditions I find myself in.
With this in mind, I develpped a routine using a regular white silk and switching it out for the "Impossible Dancing Hank" I then have rigged up my jacket, myu wifes dress and some of my stage rpops so that I can easily interact with any of them during the routine. The Impossible Hank allows me the most fexibility for outdoor work and I do not have to worry much about wind being an issue. I can do it surrounded if needed and I have even walked out into an audience with it dancing on my shoulder. It works very well. Also, because it now has the capability of programming in 2 sets of long moves, you can use one for your stage work and another for possibly strolling magic etc. You can easily switch between the two using the remote. I really like my Impossible Hank -- the mechanism is most clever and thoughtfully made. The only off-putting aspect of I.H. is the grinding noise made by the mechanism. It really can't be performed close up because of the giveaway, mechanical sound.
How are you users dealing with that? Distance and music are the only solutions I'm aware of. |

Awww, and my favourite is Ballarina hank, aka Waltzing Matilda. Works without a foulard (thus can be worked with, for a while), and can have wonderful character, I just wish I could get the throw down to the floor and back to the hand with it...
