Hello,

I looking for thoughts on the routine with the ( lovely ) Stull watch.

I don't feel entirely comfortable decribing the watch as previousely owned by someone now dead, but *am* looking for any thoughts on a plausible routine.

I see it more of a prediction / mind reading effect, than a 'this watch is haunted' story.

How do others use it ? Any comments welcome !

Piers.

Check out Borodin's Scheherezade for ideas ---

The time an event took place other than death will work -- bank robbery -- birth etc,

I think removing the haunted story would be a good idea, the strength in this piece lies not in the item but in the effect. And the moment you center a story around an object you place most of the focus and importance on the item which immediatly calls it into question. For me I use the watch as an experiment, and the watch is used in passing, just as a slip of paper would be used in billets, simply a tool.

Ditto...
I have a Geneva Prediction Watch (which I love), and I think you are right ICY. I believe the watch should be made a non-issue in the routine. I have some ideas concerning this that I have written up. If any of you have the Geneva Prediction Watch, Stull Watch, or Gerlitz, I will be glad to share a routine I have devised (including script). Just send me a scanned copy/picture of the watch or instructions, and I will be glad to share. It minimizes the importance of the watch itself, and has less of a chance of reversal (obvious prediction, etc.). If your interested pm me and I'll give you my email address.

Help ! I have what appears to be an old 'Stull watch' (not sure if the original etc) and am aware of the workings. What I am struggling with are the 'pre-set' times ? If anybody can advise etc (even it it has to be by direct email) it would be most appreciated as I am at a loss. Many thanks, Kris von Sponneck.

Last time I checked, he had made only one of the new Spirit Watch which is his own copy. But it looked nice.
