I'm also not comfortable with CT. I really have to learn this one as it sounds very promising and the peek can be accomplished with eyes closed? Man, that's excellent!

I read the blurbs and understand that you start tearing with your eyes closed and start reading the person, but what happens after.. Well, it's not an uncommon ruse, is it? I'm not looking at my billets when I start tearing them, at any rate. |

Erm... you can't read it with your eyes closed (that'd be another effect in itself).
As with other CTs, the tearing sequence can and should be done without looking once you memorise the sequence in your hands. I was using the JaJa CT for about a little over a year, and the PCT before that. To me the nice thing about Think Pink is that the torn package ends up looking really small. If you do it with business card sized slips, it really is tiny. I surprised myself when the very first time I looked and saw "Think Pink", which I wrote down for learning the sequence, was still there! You'll still have to create that moment for your peek as with other CT handlings.

I've been playing this at a Fair, and decided to reverse protocols: I now mention that I've been doing this minor miracle thingy for decades, since I was very young, and people have accused me of having someone planted inthe audience to look over their shoulder as they write, and then signal me, and have been accused of cheating and looking...and I then invite them all to eagle-eye my hands AND the paper as I do this whole thing...
In other words, I draw attention TO the paper and the tearing as a proof against cheating. Works just fine, and Think Pink can take the heat! Anyone who is doing TP...try it this way a time or two and see if the reaction is even stronger... ....too much fun!

After reading the enthusiastic posts of Tom Jorgenson and fib, I got Tink Pink.
Yes, you can draw attention to the torn paper if this is what you want. Yes, the final bits of paper are really small. Yes, you can start talking before you read the info: this last thing however should always be done with any Center Tear and Ted Lesley, T.A.Waters, Richard Osterlind and many others all have their own thoughts on how to do that. Therefore I don't consider the last thing a peculiarity of Think Pink. |

Can't wait to get my Think Pink!
Why is it that on one side of the world a person looks at a picture of the Grand Canyon and says, "it looks so real." At the same time on the other side of the world a person looks at the Grand Canyon and says, "it looks like a picture."
