I'm interested in hearing thoughts on this. I'd also be interested in knowing whether or not it's contained in "Act Two."
Many thanks, Josh |

Unfortunately, the ad (I've only seen it at http://www.hocus-pocus.com/magicshop/pro......em=6051) is rather vague!

If I'm correct, I'm not 100% sure on this, but in the back of the book there is a card effect called "Psychic Poker" which sounds a lot like "Totally Impossible Card Revelation" (Except Psychic Poker uses 2 specs, and not 1, but that would still work for the effect description of TICR).

Thanks! Scott B.

Gaffed actor's union card? Is that a joke? What's the effect?

It's not in Act Two. It's a variation of a classic trick which is in many, many card trick books. If you have Scarne on Card Tricks (which every cardworker should have) check out an effect called Hands Off Miracle. I'd mention the more familiar name, but that would really be giving it away and I don't want to do that here on a public forum. Suffice to say it's an old classic given the brilliant Barrie Richardson spin. I will give one hint, though. In order to do the trick, you must have a certain substance handy (pun intended). And when you purchase this you get an ample supply of the stuff. 'Nuff said. I won't say more.
