Whit, I wish that I at a point in my life may be as entertaining as you It was incredibly funny to watch these clips, thank you so much for putting them out
It must be so great to say something, and not be able to finish the sentence because of the laughter. It was great to see the performer actually laugh as well... By the way, I laughed so I cried "Any more STUPID questions?" With respect, Samuel

Whit...Loved watching the clips and can't wait for the opportunity to see you perform live. Not sure how soon that will be, but looking forward to it none-the-less. Have a few of your videos and books and always a pleasure to see you. Love the character.

Whit, the character you have created is quite the character. Having never heard you I have no way of knowing, but even if the voice is yours it fits like a glove the duds you chose. The mustache sets the whole thing off so well. Love the presentation and the southern pause used perfectly. I'm a sucker for anything with the word Mongolian in it and the Chinese Linking Rings phrase rings in my head. Thanks for the expenditure of bandwidth to share the Magic.

Whit, question...I noticed you changed your website to a Western theme. Does that mean the old Whit Haydn is dead, and replaced by Whitney?

Whit:
I am a lone magician stranded in the middle of Kansas with very little opportunity to see others perform. Your clips were very inspiring. I am now ready to dig more classics out of the cabinet and try them with a new character. I really appreciate sharing your talents with us. Thanks Dan

Whit,
I loved your acting persona. I recently added the silk to egg routine to my act. Your rendition was terrific. The Mongolian Pop not was also very funny. I love the way you were cracking yourself up. Didn't get a chance to see the Rings clip, but I do have the DVD. Magically yours, Michael |

The character you created is fantastic! I can watch your performances over and over and they are equally entertaining each time. Thank you very much for sharing these videos with us. You always contribute significantly to making the Magic Café a wonderful place. Thank you! Warm regards, Rich

I hope you remember me Whit, I was the young gentleman who came up to you and said, it was an easy sell as soon as you walked to center stage,
well I`ve been thinking and it also is a great way not to get bored with your own effects day in and day out. That`s ENTERTAINMENT! Cheers Chris Christian |

Whit,
What Size rings are you using? And, Who made Them? Thanks, Michael PS: I performed the Chicago suprise recently in a one on one situation. I was asked to show a trick. The response was that was great, "I thought you were just going to perform a card trick, where I pick a card and you tell me what it was." |

They were a gift from Jon Stetson, and I really love them. It will take me a while to get used to them. I bonked myself in the head at the end of the routine, and they push me two to three feet away from the mike, so my voice was going in and out. I will have to switch to a headset or lapel mike, which is a shame, since I like to use the mike stand for misdirection, and for a reason to keep turning away from the spectator assistant. But they sure show up well. I will be using them from now on, instead of my 10" Merv Taylor Orb Eternals. Glad you like Chicago Surprise. |

This was one of the most entertaining preformances I've ever seen. I laugh everytime I watch it, and it never gets old. Look out, Lance! I only hope one day, I can be half as good as that preformance.

Whit, why not use both a body mike and the stage mike but just use the standing mike as a dead prop. It takes care of the sound issue if you must stand back. With a sound pro he can, of course, manage the use for you.

When I have a sound pro, it won't be a problem. But that is not very often except in casinos and cruise ships. I'm afraid the standup mike is going to go the way of the dinosaur soon. It will not be familiar to people after a while.
