I am putting on the market a parasol production that could be used like Fukai's. As I understand Fukai's parasols will no longer be available as his manufacturer is no longer making the smaller ones.
My unit has 5 parasols. Four are a colorful print (each a different color) and the fifth is a green frog with pop up eyes. It comes with 5 24" 8 momme China Silks to produce them from. Email me and I can send you more particulars and a photo of the umbrellas. I hope to get up on the website this weekend. Richard

I emailed hocus-pocus, and because of the maker, and manufacturing quantity, no discount is subtracted from its actual price.

As I said earlier, It is my understanding there will be no more Fukai parasols.
Bill's price is very fair. My set is spring loaded and runs $250 with the silks. So again Bill's price is very fair. Evan, I will get you a photo tomorrow when I am on my laptop in the shop. Hopefully, I can get the copy written with a photo and up on the website this weekend. Richard

I purchased a custom made item from Richard a few months back and can certainly attest to the quality of his product. Easy to do business with too.

Just gunna throw in my support and admiration for Richard. Great guy, amazing props that with stand a great deal. (still using his wand to flower I purchased about 9 years ago and still goin strong.) Can't wait to see his parasoles in action.
He is well worth the money, you get great props, and great service. Both of which are becoming harder and harder to find now adays. Matt |

Hi, dear folk
It really look quite hard to find small parasol for our magic industry. I did discuss and ask our manufacturer to custom made spring umbrella, they need very large quantity. so I would like to ask what are your interesting diameter sizes and colors? Anyone have any comments or requirement for parosals? I did saw some dealers selling parasols, but the quality not really look good, it look flat while it open it. If it will in market soon, how much and how many do you think you need it? TS |

I have just finished working up the recovering of the Fukai parasols and they have turned out really nice.
I am planning to make some custom sets of production parasols with some of the beautiful brocade fabrics available now. They will be a limited run of sets of five parasols complete with silks. I plan to look for the fabrics this weekend. They will run in the $300 to $350 range. All will be automatic opening parasols about 24" in diameter. All five parasols will be covered in similar but different fabrics. The unit will include five 8 momme china silks and full instructions. I am taking orders but production will be limited at this time to twelve sets. Contact me if you are interested. Richard

My planning to make the custom sets parasols will be automatic opening parasols 4" & 9'in diameter. It's suitable for sleeve hide and plam hide production. We are so easy to made 24" in diameter.there aren't many or so far no seen 4" & 9"automatic opening parasol in market, so we need to custom made. If it's in market how many of you need it? and how many set do you need it? I hope price can fit it between USD20 to USD 25. what's your demand?

I think demand is limited as most guys do not even do this or think about it until they see Fukai work. It is pretty but rather difficult to routine .
I have sent you a PM. Richard

I put six of them up for sale in the sell forum today 2/13/06. I'm sticking with the old rubber band sprung parasols I've used in the past.
Although these are simply awesome and very powerful when released, the overall look isn't complimenting my act. Have to let them go or they will sit around here forever. |
