Are you also considering videos and/or books?
Advanced card magic or beginning? Just curious as to your interests so we can best help. Kind regards, Rich

The best place, historically, is that which sells for less, and offers your more to choose from.
That's where I go for the best.

Best sources I've been learning from
Michael Ammar: Easy to master card miracles DVD's Larry Jennings: The classic magic of Larry Jennings (book - great book - but it's not on beginner level) Royal road to card magic: Book, 10-15 USd very cheap and it covers everything you need to know. Bill Mallone: One the losse DVD 1-4, fairly advanced, not beginner magic. Card College: Vol 1-4, books, Robert Giobbi If you want really advanced card magic, go for Ray Kosby, Larry Jennings, Darwin Ortiz, Bill Mallone etc. I would start with Royal road ...., there is nothing like a good book, it goes into more detail than DVD's. But as a beginner I would also buy a DVD just to see how its done in real life. Buy one of Michael Ammars DVD's and and the Royal road book, 5 decks of cards and you are of to a good start. |

I would highly recommend Ammar's series. It's not just a collection of tricks, it's a collection of mini routines. If you're looking for easy to do, visual magic, I would suggest looking into Jay Sankey.
Yes, that is my real name. Yes, I am a real person. No, you probably won't agree with me.

Daryl has great, easy stuff... HOWEVER... the best usually come from somewhere where they have had to dream up and create THIER OWN MATERIAL.
Try doing that. Be your own creator.

You just can't go wrong with Michael Ammar's ETMCM series (9 DVDs) and Encyclopedia of Card Sleights by Daryl (8 DVDs). Both are highly recomended for beginners and/or advance card magic practitioners.
