Hello all. This is my first post so I hope I get it right. I have a Halloween party coming up and would love to do some mentallism effects. In the past I have been very successful with effects that border on mentallism (ashes on arm, Koran deck, and such). While these are killer effects for me, I wanted something new.
Can anyone point me in the direction to find to great party effects that take little or no set up and can be performed at a moment's request? Thanks... |

Having recently recieved Sean Fields "X-Rated" I am going to suggest that book. It is $25 at the magic pro shop.com and has some superb material. I think that the Bloody Mary effect would be PERFECT for a Halloween party for it is a little bizzare and a little PK. Of course, you could also go with and of Docc Hilford's products as well. Most of them are bizzare in nature.

I have "Band of the Hand" but the effects all seem a little out there for me. I'll do some research on "X-Rated". Thanks for the advice!

Though I have my two ebooks in The Black School, (I don't mean to advertise) I really do think that book has a lot of what you're asking for.

Anabelle,
Can you tell me more? Where do I find your ebooks? |

Are we talking a stand-up show or strolling? If we are talking strolling, try the video, "WAM-Walk Around Mentalism" by Mark Strivings (the effects will work for an intimate stand-up show as well).
