Welcome to side five.
Follow along in your books while we learn three new words in Turkish: Towel, delight, border. May I see your passport, please. This doesn't look like you. It's an old picture. Exactly.

Are these your bags?
Have you seen the Palace? Oh, you must, you must! It won't be here much longer, you know--they are cleaning it! |

Vern is with James. Let's talk about Vern.

This is sort of analogous to magic in general. Need to know. I just went to some Nick Danger exposure sites and with very little effort I can learn anything I want. In just days, I too will be able to perform in this thread. I don't even have to learn any of the scripts. I can write my own and make up my own plot points too.

OK then since you insist, let's talk about Vern... Is he perhaps an ex parrot that's ceased to be?
(As for exposure sites, you can indeed learn a lot in 5 minutes, and no doubt forget it in the next 5. ) |

They were an earlier more radio-oriented comedy group, similar to Monty Python, but much more of the Sixties. Drugs, sex, rock in roll, and old movies mixed with politics and history--a pretty heady brew. Actually, both Firesign and Monty Python are excellent studies for improv actors. The sort of free-wheeling ensemble playing is very exciting and fun. Oddly enough, most of the female characters in both groups were played by men. Even earlier stuff that is great is BBC radio's "Round the Bend" with Peter Sellers. |

How odd. This is a discussion that’s a survey that is also a discussion about a survey and where those who are for "discussion" as opposed to being for a "survey" are actually participating in a survey!
I read all the posts. I did here too. I try to "listen," although I haven't always done that. magiclaurie, good questions. Whit, I think we're all Bozo's on this bus!
Humans make life so interesting. Do you know that in a universe so full of wonders, they have managed to create boredom. Quite astonishing.
