Have any of you ever done this......
You have a card in your right hand, and using ONLY your right hand (no left hand at all), you make the card disappear, but as the card disappears you make a coin appear held by the finger tips of the right hand? As I said, you ONLY use the right hand, no left hand at all. Is it possible with a combinations of the Tenkai Palm and the Thumb Palm or Downs Palm? If so, have you ever done it, how long did it take for you to learn/do it smoothly and fluently? ..... |

Two questions here:
1) Where are you going to go from this point? 2) Do you want a discussion of the technicalities involved? If you want a discussion of the technicalities involved, remember, this is an open forum.

Well, first off try a snap change done with a card to coin, it is angly but looks VERY good for a really small group.
If you drop the coin their eyes will follow and you can change the cards position. You might be better off L***ing the card right away and revealing the coin. I've played around with it but would much rather use pen->coin, Rock-> coin or something crazy than try to limit myself to a card and coins effect.... |

Or, if you are using one of the concealments you suggest, assuming that you are starting with a deck of cards in the left hand, and the work is done with the right, when you finish the change, your right hand should be in the correct position to drop the evidence onto the deck.

I would love to know what your opinions are on this matter. You DO NOT have to describe the methods out right by saying how each works or looks. All I am asking is your thoughts on the matter, if it is possible, using ONLY what I said? ..... |

I can think of a number of ways to do this. One way is to BP the card and bring the coin to the finger tips either from the DP or behind the card. Or Purse Palm the coin and do a rub a dub vanish on the table.
Perhaps you could tell us the context of the routine and performance conditions? the snap change suggestion is a good one, but too angly for my performance locations. Kirk |

Rock,
If you only attempt things you can know in advance are a sure thing technically, then creativity is out the window. Most of the fun is in the journey not the destination. Frank Tougas

I'm not sure I'm right about this, or where I saw this, but I seem recall seeing something like this by Eric DeCamps.
