For owners of a flame TT, you know that they instruct the use of lighter fluid. Anyone experimented with lamp oil, more specifically, color flame oil? I think it would be cool to hold a blue or green flame at your fingertips. And I believe oil would be less of an issue for skin contact and odor.

Actually I kind of posed a question similar.
I got this product called Magic Corona lamp oil and I just have to work on a good mixture for it to work on my torch heads or fire fans. BUT. check home of poi they have a little colored flame faq. and on the back of these bottles they do warn against exposure with the skin. (considering the chemicals involved, I'm not suprised) Be safe and good luck Johnny Mayhem |

Hard to imagine it'd be any worse for skin exposure than naptha. ;-)

I'll use a finger cot to both secure the fuel and to protect my finger...
I am going to try this as soon as my order of blue lamp oil arrives.
