I do a couple of searches a day for cups on eBay. This morning, while searching for cups, I found an intersting item -- number 6556009149. This is a set of Owen Magic Supreme aluminum cups and balls -- mint condition -- starting bid of $99.00.
Out of curiosity, I called OMS and asked if they still made these. Yes, they do. They sell them brand spanking new for $75.00 plus shipping. Some may think it is a bit harsh to post this instead of contacting the seller. Well, I sent the seller an e-mail and he hasn't responded. So, for all of you who want a set of Owen cups, call Owen.

Thanks Bill for the heads-up.
In Owen's history has there been a difference in the way their cups have been made? Are older sets bigger/smaller, lighter/heavier, etc? I also noticed that their 100th Anniversary cups are advertised as being able to take a tennis ball as a final load. Presumably, their other cups won't. Richard
I have six locks on my door all in a row. When I go out, I only lock every other one. I figure no matter how long somebody stands there picking the locks, they are always locking three. Elayne Boosler

The Owen Aluminum cups are the P&L shape... the classic. Their stainless are capable of holding a bigger load. They are not CNC cut but spun... and are beautiful.

Pete's got it right.
The OMS stainless, gold plated and copper cups all take a tennis ball. I ordered a set of the aluminum ones for the museum.

These cups have now been relisted at a much more reasonable price.
