I will start with WorldWind. http://worldwind.arc.nasa.gov/ World Wind lets you zoom from satellite altitude into any place on Earth. Leveraging Landsat satellite imagery and Shuttle Radar Topography Mission data, World Wind lets you experience Earth terrain in visually rich 3D, just as if you were really there. It also plots real-time events as they happen like hurricanes, floods, fires and more. The basic program is 180mb download, then it uses downloads of data-sets to update the map with events and information.

I think "Google: Earth" does the same thing as what you just described. It's at http://earth.google.com/

Here's a way out of the "you may do this but not that" trap with your purchased music tracks (I mean, you DID pay for them, so why are the use of them crippled?)
Play track on computer. Record to a .wav file as you play (I use Total Recorder set to capture anything the sound card plays). You can burn .wav files to a traditional CD and take it anywhere you want, and/or use the "MPEG Suite" software at the following location to turn the .wav files into MP3 files (decide in setup whether you want your wav files deleted after mp3s are made from them) http://ec2000.xperiment.net/index.php?id=software |

Based upon some of the posts I've read, there are many individuals here that could use this free spell checker.

Gee, I thought this topic would be more popular. Here a free program to play "Real" files. As anyone knows the Real Player wins the award for the most invasive, annoying, ad filled piece of manure on the web. Here the alternative

Since I am a Grammar Host for The Magic Café I suggest that everyone should use the Google Spell Checker or some other form of spell checker that will work on a text based forum site. It will check you spelling on your Forum title and also your post can be checked before it is submitted. The Google version can be found here:
http://toolbar.google.com/ There is a Firefox version that at last check was still in Beta testing available. Normally each month each Grammar Host is given three (3) Forum topics to check on a continuous basis. It takes time to perform this service to you fellow members and any help would be appreciated. However all the Grammar Hosts will continue to serve you regardless. James Adamson
Be remembered for performing what looks like MAGIC, not skill.
