I have a tablet wich was taken of a toy.It was in a pretty plastic shell.
I don't need the plastic shell so I had to take the tablet off. Now, I want to seal the back of the tablet so that it looks less awful when it is seen from that side. I thought of some plastic material wich could be heated and then take the form of the back of my tablet. Does anyone know what type of material should I look for? Hope to have been clear?!?? One of the easyest plastics to work with is ABS
Use epoxy or "Plastic" superglue (CA) hope this helps Shadow |

ABS stands for...
What is the look of this type of plastic? I saw a box of toys (of my children) and inside there is a white plastic molded to accomodate the toys. Could this be used ? Thanks for your reply. Rui Fernandes

ABS=acetyl butyl styrene
CA= cyanoacrylate adhesive I think spelling is correct. lookin the phone book under "Plastic suppliers" ABS is a "Thermo-plastic" it is very easy to work with even using hand tools. you may also want to look at the local building supply for a piece of "plexi-glass" This is also pretty easy to work with. |
