Also, in regards to the one negative review about the DVD not showing how to do the CTW with the spectators on the inside, zallen said "everything you see in the demo can be done," so I'm not really sure what to think. Actually, I think I'll go post that question in the expertmagic forum right now. I'll let you know what the response is.

I just got a response from the guys at Expert Magic about the version involving the girls. Here it is:
"The dvd teaches you A lot of methods and the girl on is on there You just need to think about the methods and apply them" It sounds like it should be relatively straightforward to figure out which method applies, it's probably just a more risky way to do the trick.

You bet I'm still crying about CoinMatrix from Expertmagic. They have a bad rep and if you check the other thread, folks aren't going to like this ne offering.

Didn't fail ONCE.... you'll be surprised how many people sitting next to a window won't notice the card you stuck up there before. The resturant I worked at gave me 2 advantages N.1 - they have a semi-tainted window on one side - a GREAT way to hide a card N.2- on the clear windows, they are all tall windows. I pretty much stuck the card just a tad bit higher than most people's eye-level so they won't see it when walking into their booth.... If anything, this DVD gave me some hints on how and where to plant your cards. If you simply take what is offered from a DVD, you won't like it. BUT DIG DEEPER, it inspires you to think of new stuffs/ way to do ctw.

Can I prepare the gimmick on my winshield, show the card in my hand, pass it through visually and have the spec. grab it from inside. Im sure the answer is no but I'm curious.

There is a version of the trick on the video (a method that is completely different from the Ultimate CTW method) that allows you to pass one card visually through the window. However, it only works in certain situations, and the spectator can definitely NOT get the card.

Well, I finally got the DVD, though I haven't really had a chance to try it out yet. It certainly utilizes some creative ideas, though I'm not sure how practical they'll be for me (but again, I haven't had time to try them). The method for the part of the demo involving the girls is not explicitly taught on the DVD (no presentations are really shown, just the methods), but you can figure it out relatively easily. Or you can just go to the post-purchase forum, since it's explained there ;-) The method for that effect is almost impromptu, but audience management is essential to getting it to work. Anyway, I'll try to post more info up after I've had a chance to try out at least of few of the methods presented.

I thought I'd add that I recently adapted one of the methods in the DVD to work in a fish tank. Essentially, the tank looks completely normal before hand, then you spring the cards at the glass, and one card appears on the other side, where it slowly floats to the bottom. It looks really cool. I'm going to try to get a video of it within the week, but since I have to borrow a camera it might take a little longer.
