The age-old Greek dualism ...

So, in some great sense, those in the business of mentalism are, for the purposes of entertainment, in the business of creating appearances, disguised as reality.

Of course, the French, & later the Americans, have done their best to dissolve the above dualism in the world of western philosophy as an acknowledgement of its intrinsically daft nature.

But what do you believe? - About the Big questions in life, I mean.

The vast majority of people I've spoken to, mentalists or otherwise, are quite defensive about their "beliefs". Everyone seems to believe that their 'take' on the world is accurate. I thought, since mentalism plays around with Appearance / Reality, it might be worthwhile asking what those here 'Believe', when asked.
... Who believes in God, for example, or suscribes to a major world religion?
