Does anyone have any resources for learning comedic stage hypnosis?

All that you have to do is get a bunch of people up on stage in a group and tell them to do stuff, it aint that difficult, however close up one on one hypnotism is awsome to learn and perform, now that takes real skill

Do a search on the topic. This has been done to death.

Wow I feel like such an idiot for posting something that has already been disscussed on this website!!!! blllaaaahhh
People don't realize when they write that..."do a search it has been disscussed before" People want some immediate conversation..they want to be able to have answers for THEIR posts, their problems..they want live feedback and not go read waaay back on something that has already been talked about... In fact this thread "issue" wasnt even a question... it was sort of an informal mocking.. I think people take way too much pride in saying the good old "uuummmmm do a search this has been talked about..." |

If you want to change the attitude of the Café I suggest you talk to the moderators and to the propriators, not attack those of us who follow rules thank you.
Maybe we get sick of the SAME questions over and over which can be answered with a simple search, then if there are more spacific questions they can be asked less generally than this one was. It is vague at its best. So instead of acting superior, which you seem to be accusing me of, why don't you just let things be and be nice. Oh and I do realize EXACTLY what I am writing when I write do a search. If they don't want to they are being lazy, and that really is bothersome. I was hoping he would read some and then be more spacific. Sorry if my answer offended you, but then again it wasn't written for you anyway now was it?

Don't worry it takes a lot more than that to offend me Danny...
This is what I don't understand.. when you guys rage when someone posts a question that has been "asked to death" you immediately connect it to laziness..which is ridiculous.. How is it lazy to write a whole post asking your specific question, structured how you want it to be, than typing one or 2 words in a search bar to go search old threads? Like I said when people have a question they want people to respond to their specific question... BUT when someone does go search the old forums and does find what he is looking for.. they post a reply in that thread...and then the people get mad for "ressurecting" an old thread.... you see what I am saying here? Dannydoyle said: So instead of acting superior, which you seem to be accusing me of, why don't you just let things be and be nice. Just let things be huh? You mean like not writting "do a search this has been done to death" hmmm.... maybe you should follow your own advice... cheers bro |

OK his question that he formulated had 10 WORDS! so your point is not really valid .
Second of all it was completly VAGUE. The equivalant of does anyone have any references for card magic? Third I didn't think directing someone to the search function was such a bad thing. "done to death" however in your defence may have been a little out of line. It certianly was not polite and I appologise for it. If you feel I should have directed him in a more polite fashion I agree and again will not do it again in that manor in the future. The real point is he had NO spacific question. THAT was the problem. A huge generality and needs to be done through a search. If that is a crime I am guilty.

You know what...I re-read the first post and I concluded you are correct...It was very vague and my theory of "formulating and structuring your phrase" didn't really apply to this.. let's go for a beer....hehe

Thank you but only if I get to buy the first one.
I don't even mind answering old questions for the reasons YOU stated. People enjoy live feedback! Yes indeed it makes sense. It is when they don't really have a question that the search function helps maybe to have them formulate one that is more spacific or raises one which isn't answered in the original thread But as I said it helps when I am less sarcastic and short when stating that. This is why I should buy the first beer!
