What are your best methods for ringing in a gaf.
Say I just produced for coins from a couple of cards, then I did a matrix, and now I want to do Ammar's shadow coins how would you ring in the gaf. If possible please give examples for seated and standing performances, thanks in advance. |

This may have to go to secret sessions to be explicit.
Somehow I doubt simply suggesting one trades a "final load" for getting a ringer in hand, then using a shuttle pass would suffice. :)
...to all the coins I've dropped here

Leave the something extra in the coins purse. Start to put the coins away and you'll be setup to do it "one more time", but without the cards.

Just have that special thing on the coin when you begin the Matrix routine!

If standing you may want to consider Juan Tameriz' Crossing the Gaze if the structure of the routine permits........but as Mr. Townsend stated a shuttle pass would suffice.....
If seated, would casually dropping the hands into the lap momentarily to retrieve the gaff on the off-beat be out of the question?

Thanks all for the good ideas. Excuse my ignorance but where can I find info on the imp pass?

The Imp pass is a move created by the late Slydini in his work and can be found in his literature. You can find the move and Roths work on it in Coin Magic by Richard Kaufman. I think Roth calls his version the Frontal Imp Pass.

You can do a version of the IMP pass whilst standing too...think of the mechanics behind it and apply it to a stand up situation, it can be used as a steal during a routine or as a secret load at the start...enjoy ;-D
