From what little I can see, congrats on the nice wood grain, Christian. Looks like you put a good deal of work into this project.
Like Bonnie Raitt said, "I miss Little Feat more than I miss being 8 years old." Thanks for the concerts + recordings, Lowell, Richie, and Paul!

Christian,

I like the table you built, if only I have the skills to build something too.

You did a great job.

Picture Frame + Velvet + Pad + Wood. that's all the top is. I will get some new photos this afternoon.

It looks nice. I was planning on building a table top with the exact materials you mentioned.

Is it supported by a snare drum stand?? How did you attach it and how high can you make it?

Christian, the table looks GREAT! Very professional and sleek in appearance, good job! And what a great idea utilizing the picture frame idea, you would never know it to look at it, until someone points it out!

Well done.

I've seen a lot of tables made using a picture frame, but they are useualy on a waiter's stand or something like that.

Wow, thanks Peter! The stand is a percussion congo stand that can hold a very heavy load. It was very hard to make a way to get the top to stay on. We tried T Nuts but ended up having to buy a metric stop nut drill a shallow into the wood then tighten the bolts. Then we took the top board and srewwed it onto the bottom one so we can always remove the boards in case they are damaged.

Christian

P.S. Just a random note becuase I am so excited: I just bought the entire Tarbell Series!

The table actually raises to four feet and still remains stable! I keep it at 32 or 33 to be safe though.

The Ta Da table is nice.
Easy to carry around, set up, and break down.
