I know there are many posts on the coin roll but I did not find anything that adresses my problem specifically. I can roll the coin pretty good til I get to the last finger and the pinky...i just can't get it in the right place...any suggestions??

Kainoa Harbottle might be able to help. Check his posts on the Café.
The subject comes up under the name "steeplechase" also.

Really, just keep practicing. You'll get it eventually. Just have to get over that hump.
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

Yea just listen to Chessmann. Keep practicing. I never learned a coin roll from a book or dvd. I just picked up the coin and tryed it and after some time I could do it pretty good. Now the most coin rolls I ever did in a min. were 37 Tyas Franz old record

At a guess...
Are you finding that the coin lands in the wrong place on your last roll? Are you rolling the coin on the flats between your knuckle (big one where you make a fist) and the second knuckle?

An additional question -- what are you attempting to do with the coin once it reaches the end of your hand? There are several directions in which you can go:
1. Roll the coin back up the fingers 2. Bring the coin under the hand and use the thumb to bring it back to starting position 3. Bring the coin under the hand, turn the hand over, and roll it up the palm-side of the hand 4. Roll the coin onto your other hand in starting position to roll it down those fingers Each option is going to require different positioning of the hands/fingers/coin. -Jim

Hmm.you bring up an good point Jim...let me ask you this, which of those options are the easiest. I'll tackle the others once I get 1 down!

#1 and #2 are probably the easier options. #3 and #4 are more difficult, at least in my experience. If you can do the roll equally well with both hands, #4 will probably be easier. In fact, doing it that way might be good practice to build up the muscle memory in both hands.

Depends on your hands -- try them all and see what works for you.
