Un familiar with the works of Geoff Williams, And I just found this DVD at Hocus-Pocus. From the description it sounds interesting.
Does anyone who got this? A small review would be greatly appreciated. -e-

I have Volume 2 and it is good.Geoff is funny, great explanations of a linking rubber band trick [maybe better the Crazy mans!] Nice ring and string routine.
If you have had trouble learning some of these moves from the printed page then these will help a lot. However! if you are buying this volume for 'Devastation' then be aware that this is the same as the 4.5.6 packet trick taught on Sal Piacente's 'Expert Card Magic. They are both based on a trick in 'Greater Magic'.

I have vol 2 and it is great.
Bear Hands is great for restareunts when kids are in the setting.I agree with the rubber band remark, Mark. It is very good. I hear Vol 1 is actually better, for the torn and restored card effect. This is a real world working magician. This is what he does in the restaraunts. So if this is what you are looking for, you will not be disappointed. |

I watched both volumes today. Those are great DVDs. Very workable material, and a nice performer. He goes through different kinds of effects, all of which have something that appeals to me (that is not to say I'll be wanting to perform them all, but there is no "filler").

I received these dvd's the other day and I'd have to agree with Jonathan. There's a number of things I'll be working on. They were fun to watch, too. He does a good job at giving credit as some of the material is his take or approach to a certain routine.

I made the order for them last week, I'm really looking forward to receiving them. It's been a long time since I'v heard so many good things about a new released DVD set.
