Dear Café members,
I would like to add my testimonial to the list of credits given to Jack Murray . I am now a very satisfied owner of Jack's Konundrum Kube. His craftmanship is excellent and the entire illusion works with ease. I manage to assemble the illusion from the ATA case (also included) in just about 5 minutes. I would consider its construction top notch and is one that would survive tons of work. I feel that the Konundrum Kube provides a lot of room for creativity. It's a combination of JAM,TUBE OUT and ORIGAMI (the folding of the panels). I can't wait to debut it in my illusion show. Jack keeps me updated constantly on the progress of my illusion throughout its construction. It is my pleasure to work with him and I can't wait for the next illusion project with "Dream Illusions" Regards, Jeremy Pei Singapore http://www.jeremypei.com |

Yes sir.... I got one this summer and I must say wow......this is very well made and has become a feature in my show ..........I have performed it surrounded in the streets of New York City and the reaction it got was incredible.....I have been performing magic for 20 years plus and I have never gotten such reactions ....this illusion is not a puzzle ...The darn girl is GONE !!!!! I always thought that cube zag was a little illogical... why zag the box if she is gone?.... In this one she is gone !!!! good luck Jeremy.....enjoy ..........

I'll second (or third) that too!
I have had my KK for almost 2 years. We close every show with it and it KILLS! People constantly ask me "where did she go"! I also own a Dream Illusions Fire Cage that is my opener, along with a few cases. Jack is the coolest! He is working on a case for me right now as we speak. I have said it before, I'm a client for life! Keith

Dear all,
I just debuted the KK at 2 Illusion shows last night, and it was a great hit! The clients were all wondering where the girl went! I added some nice touches to the presentation, will try to film a video and upload it onto my website. Its a true worker's illusion.Jack is also working on a new illusion for me now. Keep up the good work Jack! Regards, Jeremy Pei Singapore http://www.jeremypei.com |

I personally have never understood illusions which involve skewring a girl 25 different ways, only to open the box and show that she's gone. Maybe the audience doesn't know HOW she got out or where she went, but if she can "get away"(?), then why insert all those swords or blades? One of my favorite illusions is the classic lay-down blade box, where the girl climbs in and lots of blades are put in the top and protrude from the bottom, only to have the girl wave her hand when all the blades are in place! It looks impossible! Now, that said, I know this is just a little nitpick of mine, because the "skewer the girl and vanish her" illusions have always played well with a live audience, and they still do. Just my 2 cents!
