Hey does anyone have any ideas on how to end a series of egg from mouth productions once all the eggs are placed in a container? I was thinking turn all the eggs in the container into white confetti, but I'm not sure how to accomplish this. hollafront

If the container was a hat I would suggest to put ball clips in the hat and have the bottom of it all in confetti. So when you put the eggs in the hat you just have to turn the hat over drop the confetti and then put the hat on your on your head. Before the performance to keep the confetti in the hat you can use a little thing of tissue paper to encase the confetti. Put it in one of the clips. Rip it open after putting an egg in it.
If you punch a wall so hard your knee hurts your goal has been accomplished.

I think you should have feathers cough out of your mouth and then produce either a real chicken or rubber one from the hat.

An egg bag finale I used might fit the bill.
After the routine, I exchanged, swapped, or otherwise switched the "hollow" egg for one that I filled with confetti and glitter. With the comment, "I know what you are thinking, and you're right....this isn't a real egg." I'd pick up a ping-pong paddle and hit the egg into the audience. The shower of confetti mixed with glitter was a suprise ending and always got applause. Thanks go to Karrell Fox for a great idea! Try it, I am sure you will be thrilled with the response. As for the change to white confetti-- You are really only dealing with "two" eggs, which take up a very small space. And if you use the foam style the can easily be compressed. You might consider a change bag or a large devil's hank or the blendo bag. all would accomplish the vanish of the eggs and the production of the confetti. Also there is a small but nice bit about eggs on "Finn Jon Close Up Explantion Volume 1" from the French producer Pierre Mayer. Good luck! |

Do a search on the Café for Ball Droppers or Ball holders. This has been discussed in length with a very good reference.
Abbott's Magic sell egg holders or clips. Send them an email. |

Antino--
Eggs are quite strong even hollow. I have three eggs I hollowed four years ago to use with my Malini bag. Haven't broken one yet. After the egg is empty, let it dry a day or so. Using tweezers you can open one end a little bit. I usually use the "bigger" end. Just enough to fill with the glitter and small confetti. Then a small piece of white athletic tape to cover the hole. After switching eggs, it is just a matter of turning the "taped" end palmwards. Then grab the paddle and smash away. I know you're audiences will love it. Details can be find in one of Karrell Fox's books. Sorry to say I do not know which title it is. The trick/bit was called "Eggsplosion" (I think). His books should be on every magician's bookshelf. He was truly one of magic's greatest thinkers. Good Luck, Michael |

Hi Peeps,
Although I use a mouth coil routine, I finished it off with a Growing Ball production from my mouth. I call my routine, Spaghetti and Meatball. If you can find a white colored Growing Ball... that will work well with the Egg from Mouth routine. Sal |

After confetti appears you might want to continue by ending with the Candy Factory. Read some of the post described here: http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......17&6
It would look like you started off with eggs. The eggs turn to confetti. The confetti turns to candy. |

Don't want to fail to mention an obvious and self contained answer; Fakini makes a giant egg that has a hole in the bottom. You put the produced eggs into the big one inside the hat, for the finish you turn the hat over on your hand and reveal one big egg. Its very very simple but the visual of that giant egg always scores big with the audience. Good luck!
"What's your drug?" she asked. "Hope" he said, "The most addicting one of all."

Container with double sided mirror splitting the container in half. Openly put the eggs on one side, and as you get to the end of the routine, casually turn the container around to the confetti side.

Hi guys,
We manufacture the EGGS FROM MOUTH trick. Our routine answers your question as to how to end the routine after you've produced a quantity of eggs - Our BONUS INSTRUCTIONS EXPLAIN HOW YOU CAN EASILY MAKE ALL THE EGGS VANISH AT THE END! You could have your hat filled with confetti, throw coils etc - so when you throw the hat's apparent egg contents at the audience, they receive a SURPRISE shower. 1. Our gimmick is made in such a way that no assistant is needed. It is very funny when egg after egg (or ping pong balls) pop out of your mouth! 2. Another version of EGGS FROM MOUTH is available from another source - they call it the same thing but it is NOT at all similar to ours. The competitor's versions just comes with a few plastic eggs and tells you to palm the eggs. Our UMSI version does NOT come with any eggs, plastic or otherwise. We supply a special gimmick that provides the illusion. You use any eggs or ping pong balls - therefore, the number of eggs you can produce is UNLIMITED! Because of the automatic misdirection that our gimmick and routine provides, it is very easy to learn. It will take some practice, but no special skill. For a trick costing only $19.98, you receive an effect worth hundreds. Your audience will be in stiches. We sell out of this trick every time we've had it at a convention. There is a video demonstration on our site. http://www.abra4magic.com/Merchant2/merc......ode=E135 If you want a really hilarious routine - use this with our UNBELIEVABLE EGG PRODUCTION BAG trick found on the above page. After you finish your egg bag routine, all of a sudden an UNLIMITED amount of eggs start popping out of your own or your spectator's mouth! |

Don't just dump confetti out of the hat. If working with an assistant, the assistant, who has turned into a human hen, takes the hat and starts to throw the contents at you. You hide in audience. If working alone, you throw the hat's contents toward audience. But it has turned into confetti, or a mouth coil, or whatever. (Be careful with glitter.)
Or, put the eggs into the hat, then take out the props for your next trick. Thom . |
