The Magic Castle has a basic magic class. I haven't taken it yet but am hoping to soon. It seems like a really good deal. For $295, you get a six week class that meets once a week. Perhaps just as valuable as the class itself is the fact that you get a six week pass to actually go to the Magic Castle. You don't even have to pay the entrance fee.

Does Dale Salwak still operate the Chavez School? You couldn't be better grounded in the magic arts.
FWIW Cheers!

If your living or planning to go to England, check out Aston Academy of Magic. Their link is http://www.magicschool.org.uk/

Bricks-and-mortar magic shops sometimes have classes. My local shop, The Vanishing Rabbit, even does shows and birthday parties. If you live near one, check it out.
For those who believe, no explanation is necessary. For those who do not, none will suffice.

Magic castle in hollywood is one. But Im pretty sure you have to audition. If not, then see ya there! (If I can get in!) I am planning on getting into the castle in the near future. Anyone have any tips?

Ya, that's what I thought. But does the audition have to fool magicians, or just show that you are good. And how good do you have to be? I am pretty good, but I don't know if you have to be superb, or just be very good.
