Hi. I'm semi-new to ballooning, and was wondering where I can find a good website that teaches sculpting (with nice pics etc.) I have found some in my searches, but I was wondering if there are any really good and really well known ones out there. Im actually interested in learning to make a bow and arrow at the moment. Thanks.

Tmyers.com sells a lot of great books, videos and DVD's
Professor Wonders site is pretty good for beginners @ balloonhq there is not a lot of free instruction but a lot of balloon information, and tons of photos.

You can also check out a couple sites from 'our own' MagicGeorge. Look at his signature for the link. Some of the stuff on his sites is not on BHQ.

BalloonHQ.com is the best. I would also suggest attending a balloon convention or jam. A jam is a group of balloonist getting together to teach and learn.

You know you are a magician when you have boxes full of lecture notes you have never read, but still are excited about going out and buying more.

Yep. mbd2.com and balloonhq.com are the best bet. You may have to fork over a small donation or fee to get full features, but you'll really accelerate your learning. You can also check for stuff like balloon jams and balloon seminars in your local magic/entertainer clubs.
Ballooning is like a mindset. After you get a few basic moves and get some good ideas, you'll be taking off before you know it. Mike |
