Hi all, I had the chance over this weekend to capture a small segment of my recent lecture at Marc DeSouza's lecture theater. I thought I would share it here since the patter was inspired by a thread I started a month or so back, Sleeve Pluckers Anonymous.
Well the humor in that thread inspired me to use some of the plucking patter in the actual routine in which I am doing the plucking. This is just the production phase from "OutsDANding" from my DVD, Coin Man Walking, with the added plucking patter from the aformentioned thread. The clip: "Plucking OutsDANding." Enjoy. Dan |

Hi Dan,
I really like the plucking phase of the routine, it's very magical. I have one question: sometimes because of moist hands, or when its very hot in the area I perform in it's almost impossible for me to produce the coin from FP, because it sticks. Do you know a way to overcome this problem? Thanks!! Simon |

Simon,
Until Dan returns, you might try this: just before the production, tilt your hand so that the coin falls away from your fingers and leans against your thumb. This is also a good way to reduce the noise one sometimes gets sliding a coin off a palmed stack.
Is THAT a PALMS OF STEEL 5 Banner I see? YARRRRGH! Please visit The Magic Bakery

Simon, If you cannot overcome friction, I would follow Curtis' advice and try to use gravity. I am not the best to answer this because I personally do not have this problem. I tend to have dry hands.
