Anyone got these? I am a fan of Daryl's work, but do not have these notes yet. Any opinions from those who have them would be great.
"Didn't have a chance to see Daryl's lecture at the 2003 Blackpook Magician's Convention? No problem, you can still get the notes! These detailed notes contain all of the effects featured in the lecture presented by Daryl (which had over 3000 magicians in attendance). Contents include: Happy Birthday Card, The Gun Trick, Pyro-Maniact, Rising Cards from Envelope, Card in the Envelope, Mystery of the Traveling Marbles, Two Cards in the Eye Glasses, and Ring, Rope, Wand. These are all excellent effects and most of the routines are surprisingly easy to perform. Complete with 50 detailed photographs to make every explanation crystal clear."

I was pleasantly surprised by that lecture - I was expecting another Dealer Dem like the last one Daryl did. There were a number of interesting and usable routines, and they didn't require buying something from the stand later...
I think you will be happy with the notes. Take care, Ian |

Daryl performed this lecture at my local IBM Ring in September. It contains plenty of useable material and the Cards in the Glasses was one of my favorites. It's a steal at ten dollars.
Cheers, mackmania

This lecture was the first lecture I have attended and was VERY pleased. Daryl was very impressive and his audience participation was great.
All of the illusions listed in Sirbrads post can be found in various DVD's that Daryl has available so you can get a performance perspective. Most of the card tricks can be found in Daryl's Card Revelations series and the rest in the Fooler Doolers series. Hope this helps. Dan P.S. Good to see you again Sirbrad. |

Hey Sirbrad~
This is Wendebird on Zazz' account. We are all doing great, thanks for asking! Our daughter is still into magic, going to her local SYM and looking at also joining our local SAM ring with us. She wants more opportunity to perform. We have a new addition to the family since we last spoke. An adorable white bunny that I am currently "socializing" by taking to my daughter's school, etc. I'm trying to get her used to noises and being around kids. She is such a little cutie-pie! She has got the most gorgeous blue eyes! Hope all is well with you also. Take care! ~ Wendebird |

That is great to hear Wendybird! I am glad yor daughter stuck with it thus far. Congratulations on the new edition to the family, I know what it is like to have bunnies, my mom has always had them also. They can be cute, and also can be a handful as well! Also it is good to know you are all still continuing to prosper in the art, and still around at least ONE forum. This place is huge though, just don't get lost!

I bought Daryl's lecture notes at his Fooler Doolers lecture and for the first time just before Christmas ordered some gifts for myself directly from his site:
http://www.foolerdoolers.com/store/default.asp I placed my order Wed. night and received it in the mail Fri. morning. I couldn't believe how quickly I received my order, considering how busy the Post Office is the week before Christmas, and Daryl even autographed one of my dvd's. Daryl's online magic store has become one of my favorite places to buy magic. |
