I just got the "Candy Factory" lately. But how good is "Comedy Egg Can?" Both tricks end up with candy. Do you think it is good to have both in 1 show?

I've only done a few children's shows, but I'd say "no." You shouldn't routine two items that are too close in appearance and two productions of candy are going to look like that to your audience.

It all depends on how you approach the routines. If you somehow combine the 2, I can see something working. Or you can do one of the tricks, in which all the children recieve some candy, but save all the candy from the other trick, for only the birthday child. That way all the other kids will want you for their birthday just so they can have candy. See what I am saying? .
Good luck with your new routine! Evan Morgan |

I can understand what you are saying, JM2c. It could come out bad showmanship. But I was thinking about performing it with no patter. I'll have the "Candy Man" song on during the presentation by Sammy Davis Jr. Or I sing along with his singing. And I was thinking about a little kid like dance along while the candy is being produced while the music is playing.
Evan, I'm surprised I never thought about that. That will be an excellent idea, I see what you are saying. Thanks guys. Dynamike |
