I've heard and infact seen ultra smoke damage metal.. I recently receieved a gold hand chain and was wondering if ultra smoke would ruin it..anyone with an answer ( besides me finding out for myself)

Well, with ultra smoke you should really only wear it when your performing, and it should not be left in your jacket when not in use. Also, most of the smoke that you release ends up in your hand so I would say that it would probably not even come in contact with your chain.
I know from experiece that ultra smoke did ruin the safety pins that were holding it in my jacket (my fault for not using it properly I suppose) but it need to be in contact with them for a while before it would damage them. Even if the smoke did get on your chain I doubt it would be around long enought to do damage. Of course, if it really worried you, you could put the chain on the hand that you are not producing smoke from. Hope that helps Darius |

Ya thanks for the info..my pins also rusted terribly
I'm just wondering if the chemicals are bad for gold.. any ideas? |

Do you know the name of the chemicals? Cant remember myself. Might be able to find out on google if they would harm gold.
