Hehehe oh thank god lol!!!!! man if people thought I was wearing a hot pink jacket I would die. I want to stand out but I don't want to stand out THAT much hehehe. Thanks for clearing that up. I now can sleep at night. hehe
OUCH you are killing me here. 70 degrees? aww man. I am burried under 2 foot of snow and had to watch a small man in a suit try to drive his car out of a 4 foot snow drift cause he just did not feel like shoveling. (sigh) Send some sun over this way will ya? =) Would love to see the pics. Kyle

Kyle,
Sorry about not getting back to you on my overly thematic comment. Forgot I posted. When an act is known as a dove, card, flower act and so on... this help the booking agent. But, when every bit is somehow related to one prop, as an audience member I zone out. The first time, I watched Lance Burton's lamp post act, I didn't feel that I was watching a dove act. It was just a great show and that's good magic. Theme worked subtly into a show adds a dynamic that can be the difference between an award winning act or another manipulative act. Craig

What I don't want to see in your act is:
- Somebody else's act; - Your TT or IT (Use 'em, but I don't wanna see 'em); - Your wife of forty-five years dressed like a Rockette; - A stooge; - Self-aggrandizement; - An (undeserving) audience member made to look foolish; or - Your husband of forty-five years dressed like a Rockette Regards, -jjg |

I haven't put up my list of what I don't want to see as I've been busy taking note of the great input from others. The reminders from Levent and Kyle have struck a chord and should be taken very very seriously. So in the meantime, I remain busy taking notes. Thanks.

Randy,
Thanks for the kind words. I just feel manipulators can really give an audience so much more then most do. There is nothing wrong with skill, but there is more to give to an audience then skill alone. kyle

I hate seeing ciggaretts in manip. it makes kids think its ok to smoke. I don't think it sets a good example.
