Hello all,
I'm looking for a way to switch two cards using a box, something which I don't need the use of a table for. Anyone know anything about this: http://www.emagictricks.co.uk/Ghost_Box_Bicycle.html or this: http://www.hanklee.org/xcart/customer/pr......tid=1086 Kind regards, Ross |

Go out and buy the art of astonishemt series by paul Harris, and construct the angel case. I do a spirit writing routine with it, but the possibilities are endless....

Why not use one of those cheap plastic black thingamarooz?

What does the Angel Case look like? Does it appear to be just a standard card box?

BTW -- the Angel Case is in Book 2 of PH's AoA. I'm just about to make one.
Thanks for the tip. |

Barry Richardson also (I think) has a method in ToTM2 with a gimmicked card case to switch decks right in front of the specs

I haven't seen the Angel case in action but you can make a very effective small drawer box to do this quite easily. You don't even have to start from scratch, find an antique wooden box and modify. If you are replacing one card rather than a thick packet or entire deck, then your job is even easier.
If you would like more info PM me, I've made quite a few over the years. Simon |

Hey icy-rabbit,
I too use Angel Case to perform a torn and restored card effect. I obtained the effect from Andi Gladwin called First Aid Box - thought I'd share this with ya'. Best regards, FADE

I use it to for the corner switch I use ib bill in lemon. The corner piece gets put in the box, and is held by the spec untill the end of the routine.

Not to be negative, but have you thought of adapting Ammar's corner switch for cards to a bill? You won't need the card case then.

See, I like the corner switch -- but this way the bill is placed in the box by the spec and held in their hands untill the completion of the effect, and at the end the box is shown empty. I just love how "clean" ( despite the use of an added prop) this is.

Although Karl Norman used it for a different effect, his use of a "Sucrets lozenge" box (secrets) he had miles of funny patter with it... Seems a card box like S S Adams makes would be a piece of cake.
