That's a good question; when I was selling magic tricks I've used to have TT for african american people, but I've never had "D'Lite" for them.
You should inquire with the manufactorer, here: http://www.dlite.com/Contact_DLite.htm Good luck! |

There is a DVD sold with some d'lites by some magic stores that shows how to take a sharpie pen, brown, black , what ever, and color a d'lite to get very close to african american skin tones.
"Now here's the man with the 25 cent hands, that two bit magician..."

The trick is to put a layer of ink quickly on with the sharpie, wipe off the excess (use a tissue) and keep repeating until you get the sade you want.

Putting the gimmick of the D'Lite into a TT for african American will also work, Use a hot clue gun to put it in the new TT.

That's a great question. I think they need to make tt more available for different colored skinned people. I seen on Darwins Encyclopedia of TT magic that they had some tt's for african americans, but I don't know where you could get them. -Cory.

Well, you could buy they TT you need, then buy the dlites. Just take out the little light inside the dlites and glue it in the other thumb tip.

You have to take into consideration that the dark TT are not as transparent as the light ones, so logicaly it would dim the brightness of the d'lites. (plus some of the d'lites are super extra glued, I had to CARVE IT OUT once!)

Every black magician I know uses the regular d-lits. Why would anyone see the TT in the first place?

Have him send me his and I'll wear it and carry it around in my pocket for two weeks.
That's about how long mine took to darken on its own... Regards, -jjg |
