You can use a copper/silver coin and the 2 matching coins and show virtualy the same effect.

Correct gentlemen, and where as I hate to sound like a broken record here. However Joe R. on his Extreme Coin Magic has a gaffless routine for this one as well.

Carl Andrews has a great no-gaff version in his book "Making a Living Doing Restaurant Magic" He calls it the World Famous Two Coin Trick. It's a quick opener and gets people's attention.

I agree with warren. Short hop is a pretty good routine and is extremely easy.

The effect can be done with three ungaffed coins--e.g. two silvers and one copper. That is what I use to perform it, anyway. And I structured it to be instantly reset at the end, so it works very well for me.
