Thank's Doc, I really like the effect I think it's brilliant. And I have no problem with the price except that the gaff was obvious which I'll explain in an email. You've mentioned in your post and it is mentioned in the effects description as well that it can be handled by the spectator unless I am doing something wrong here there is no way this copy could be handled without the method being exposed.
I'm looking forward to having fun with this though, thanks for such a great effect. |

Dan,
I'm also interested as to why you say the gaff was obvious and can't be handled by a participant. I use this in every show and I have the participant hold the book for a good minute or two before she (it's usually a lady I use) looks for the "missing" page. I did make a couple of modifications that made it easier, which I can't discuss here. If you e-mail me offline, and describe your concerns, I'll be glad to explain. -- Jheff Jheffsmind@aol.com

Thanks all. Dan and I are in contact. Trying to stand behind products.
Those western novels are rare and almost 17 years old now. They didn't have that "hot spot" discussed earlier. But this leads me to hint of a NEW version that's been in development for a while now. An entirely different method is employed. Still some bugs that only repeated performances can work out. I could do as many do and release it as a beta and wait for the buyers to make the adjustments, but I don't roll like that. Don't look for release until the end of the year. Along with a DVD and a full mental act to go with it. Designed for corporate work. I'll just say it's my version of Richard Wrightmeyer's contribution to mentalism. |
