One can buy the book directly from Mr. Palmer: http://www.adessoverlag.com/curtain.htm or from a VERY short list of dealers.

Wow, time to revive an old thread.

I picked up a copy of Final Curtain at Magi Fest this year. Like a lot of people have mentioned here, I too was looking for story ideas and the book does have more than a few to work with and from.

However, I discovered a little gem in the routine Living or Dead. A brilliantly simple concept that I have adapted to a Dead Pet Routine. I have performed it quite a bit in the past 3 weeks and it is a real winner.

The routine works for families or adults (not for children's shows) and what a simple thing to do. All you need is a piece of paper and some pens and you're ready to go. Audiences are stunned by it.

I would have to say that this concept alone is more than worth the price of this book!

All the best,

Rob

Buy "Final Curtain" now. Otherwise, you will be kicking yourself a few years from now when the only copies available are on eBay for an astronomical amount.

Just consider what has happened to the prices of other bizarre publications.

Good point.
Early one I said this was on my "must buy" list, but I have yet to do so.
(I also expected a certain somebody to "stock" it as it's on his inventory catalog Smile buty that's just an excuse, I could easily order it)
I love Borodin's style with regard to the intricate props and dark matter in his stories.
*Sigh*.. I need to get this, as well as Hauntiques still, and Arcana of Bizarre Magick is making a comeback this year too.
Just hanging out with the rest of my fellow dregs.

Hey Myst, concerning Arcana of Bizarre Magick, do you have inside info on that one, I have yet to have heard anything definative, I certainly have spent enough hours wishing for it's return.
My mom says I'm reprehensible, I think I'm perfectly hensible.

Yes, in the pamphlet which listed all of JM's works, (the one that came with the Midnight in the Dark Museum book), it is listed as being re-released in 2007 !

And there was much rejoicing !
yayyyy (I'm not dead yet !)

In my opinion, Final Curtain is Borodin's best work to date. It has no fluff...every routine is a real showpiece.
