I'm going to post this here and in the 'sleightly' forum. Here's the question and an example:
What is your #1, no more favorite IN THE SPECTATOR'S HAND OR HANDS TRICK? My answer to that is Peter Rabbit. I have others, but that's my number one. If you know where you got the trick that would be spiffy. Thanks and best,
Brad Burt

What the heck did I say up there? Forget the 'no more'. It should say what is your #1 favorite in the spectators hand trick..... sorry!

David what routines do you do..
after getting 25 tricks with sponge balls I can make 2 then 3 appear in their hand.. then the typical 1 in the pocket 1 in the hand routine.. I'll then end clean OR load a TT into the hand and make that last one vanish a lot cleaner |

I'll add another favorite:
Any copper silver transpositon that happens in the spectator's hand. J.C. Wagner has a killer ending for Silver/Copper/Brass that he works over the bar and in the hand of a spectator. In Super Cents by Jerry Mentzer is the transposition using the giant Silver Dollar sized penny (like my Sudbury II: http://www.nexternal.com/bburt/Product390). Not only do you get the transposition, but the kicker of having the regular sized penny change in the hand of the spectator to a Dollar Sized penny. Anything that happens in the spectators hand? Best,

Does a finger chopper count? Because that's my favourite trick, period.
For those who believe, no explanation is necessary. For those who do not, none will suffice.

Scotch and Soda, I call it “Over the Boarder” I tell the volunteer that I have an American half dollar and a Mexican penny, I put the two coins in their hand and tell the person to close the hand with the coins and with the other hand to point to the knuckles of the close hand and then to the wrist of the close hand and say “Over the Boarder” and when they open the hand to see the Mexican penny is now an American Quarter.

I second scotch and soda. Making the centavo disapear and a quarter is found in their hand. I love it!

Of the coin tricks I think that scotch and soda is my favorite. Brad this is an interesting question. I am thinking of so many tricks right now that make people laugh or gasp. Ok, I bought a trick at Al's in DC that is a coin trick with a final exposure of a giant cockroach.
The first time I had my wife see the trick, she ran screaming from the room and I was yelling " but I haven't finished the trick yet". The last load was a giant quarter. The spectator held two drink coaster as a two lid chop cup...the loads were changed out as the performer lifted the top coaster. Great little trick |
