Matilda, star of magic shows and the World's Oldest Chicken died at age sixteen. On February 11, 2006, she succumbed to heart failure. As a direct result of Matilda’s induction into Guinness World Records, she was a guest of Jay Leno on "The Tonight Show" in an episode that taped and aired on September 9, 2004.
See: http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......13&1 Arrangements for her "broken perch" ceremony are being planned for August 2006. She was the first of the animal stars of magic to be documented by the induction into Guinness World Records. Animal lovers, magicians and magic fans are encouraged to join the event. It too may be for the Guinness World Record as a first. Bob Sanders Magic By Sander |
