I will be speaking at the graduation ceremony for community volunteers who have been trained to staff a community telephone hotline. I would like to emphasize the importance of their work, particularly their ability to "connect" with callers, as well as thank them for making a positive contribution to the community.

I was considering rescripting Voodoo Ashes, which I learned from Mastering the Art of Magic (Burger), to illustrate how two people can establish a connection over distance and how one person can make an impact on the other's life.

I'd appreciate the Magic Café community's thoughts about this or any other possible effects.
