Hello to the MagicCafeMentlists. I’ve been meaning to ask you something, I believe you would have some very interesting thoughts on this.
I was relaxing with one of my chilla-doobies, thinking. “How could you combine psychology with magic to make a more professional performances.” Then I thought of you.. My congruence with myself was lost, my thought pattered ended. So you better come up with a *** good answer! lol. Your good at reading minds. I’m interested in how the spectators percieves the show. If we all share the same thought patterns then there must be a “majority” or a “most”. Could you say people go along to a magic show to “try” and “believe” the magic? Just got me thinking, it would give me a whole new approach on constructing my show.

Jung's work on personal and collective conscious and unconscious are fortuitously alligned with mentalism's demonstrations.

Not only that, but your interpretation of Jung's understanding of the workings of the human psyche will bring an addition in appreciation to YOUR audience of a more individualistic nature than a more physical approach

If reality is a comcept and derivitive of consciousness is a function of our mind and the mind is a product of our brains and our brains are driven by electrical pulses and chemicals and chemicals can be altered and then that would alter our reality then I just used too many ands in a sentence!

So if quarks of an atom pop in and out of existence, does that mean we are nothing more than huge bio-chemical-electrical strobe lights?

Suggestion technique: I dare you think a thought... now, did that seem real in your mind? OK then, that thought certainly exists in reality and can be just as real to me as it was to you... let's work on making it clearer now...
