I just received this tape today. Bought it here on the Café (sorry Donnie!).
I am very impressed with the material James performs and shares.
I can't wait to get into the material further.

Greetings,

Sammy J, you made a wise investment. I know I've said it many times, but this is probably the best video put out. I've learned everything from it.

I purchased the video when it first came out. I was also fortunate enough to run into James during one of my Castle visits. I was able to sit down with him and get some one on one time. It was great experience. I was able to get him to show me some work on Inversion. One of my favorite card effects.

Hypnotizing the Professor, One coin triple change Spellbound, and Foreign Exchange I use on a regular basis.

I've transfered my to DVD. I was afraid after watching it so much that the tape was going to break!

Have fun with it!

I own the video but have never performed coins through glass table yet.
I think this http://www.stevensmagic.com/index.php?ma......d=111812 table may be suitable for the routine.

With that Spider table and a close up pad, I may be able to perform coins through glass table in street performance.

I've used (and continue to use) James' handling of the prof. nightmare for YEARS! I've had a number of other performers ask me about it and, am quite frankly, surprised that more people haven't adopted it. Great stuff on this video!

I don't think he taught the bill switch routine, if memory serves me.

P.S.
The last information I received about James Lewis from a friend of mine was in 2006.
That was 13 years ago.

He wrote me:
I met James through a friend from USA.
He showed me some of his routines and I was blown away.
James is still in the Magic Castle on a regular basis, but only to rummage through the library.
At the moment, he does not perform anymore because he is busy full time with his company and the production of stages.
But he is currently working on a new routine with a sliding shell.
