Seeing as how gordonmj is relatively new here I will give him some advice:
The workshop is mainly for the discussion of prop building, building techniques, building resources, and basically anything else involving the words prop, build, technique, construct, and pain (Or any combination or alteration of the words therein). The reason everyone reacted so sarcastically is because your post simply seemed to serve itself, and not the Café community. If you have a new prop that you are building GREAT we want to hear about it, but vague seemingly self-serving posts tend to be viewed through a cynic's eyes.
