I bought one at Coinvention a couple of years ago, the quality was really bad. The way the shell was milled, it was wobbly and noisy. Mine was made by Sasco... . Curious..., what are you planning to use it for?

Just wanna do the routine using jumbo coin.
Usually people use the Kennedy half dollar one... I just want to change it to jumbo walking liberty because all the half dollar I have is walking liberty. This is the most beautiful coin. Any idea where to get it?

No shell.....but I stocked up on a few Jumbo Walking Liberty's at the Reno Hilton Gift Shop during the IBM Convention last year. I believe they were $2 a piece.
You may try calling them. I know I sent people who were buying Schoolcraft Walking Liberty sets from Dean Dill down to the Gift Shop. |

Here's the Sasco coin I mentioned... it's item no. 129: Jumbo 3" coin w/ matching shell. The coins look just fine... the fit is a little less than precision. I may have been a little too critical in my first posting... just keep in mind, it's not fantastic quality, but quite usable I suppose.

I have a set as you describe. Mine too, the shell is very loose.
I only use the jumbo coin at the end of my matrix routine. I tried using the shell too and it talked too much to be useful. I even tried some 2 sided tape and it didn't work out either. Try magic warehouse. I think they may have them.

If you get a jumbo shell that rattles you could always place some tape in there to soften the sound.

I just tried it and the link took me right to the Sasco cataglog. Maybe you can try cutting and pasting the link into address line of your browser.
