Hello dear mentalists...
hopefully this thread is in the right place, if not please moderaters replace it I deviced a new design duplication last night and I am not sure if it allready exists! Maybe you guys can help me out. - 5 people from the audience write an object on a billet. - performer turns his back or leaves the room while another volunteer from the audience selects a billet and keeps the object in mind! - both the performer and the mentalist are going to draw on a clipboard. - the two drawings are compared and seem to match quite well. I hope to hear from you guys if this allready exists... Marc Woods...

Seriously though, your descriptio sounds like a combination of methods that have been in the public domain for a number of years. The easiest deisgn dupe any one can do, in my opion is preshow with a board. You CAN't MISS!

Thank guys for posting...
I know that preshow may solve the problem of the design duplication and I don't know why, I keep loving the "non-preshow always able to do" versions of experiments... Scott, can you tell me a source of this one? Marc Woods...

Did you look at Osterland's ODDS? I just purchased that and it is an anytime anywhere version. Not like you describe but really anytime anywhere.

Hi John,
yes I have Osterlind's Mind Mysteries series and ODDS is also included! I really like the idea of the stack but from my point of view it is not the same as the thing I described. In the ODDS routine, you're the one that choose all the objects and in the routine I tried to describe the audience "choose" all the objects! Which gives a more fair approach IMHO. Don't understand me wrong, ODDS is a very good and convincing routine but I am just looking for something else...thanks anyway for sharing your idea. Marc Woods...

Are you going to print it, or publish it?

Tom I guess it's not that revolutionary and a lot of people certainly thougth of the same way of accomplishing the effect.
So I am not going to publish it, well I think I am gonna use it
