Is it true you can make your own star gazer rubber band by using a normal rubber band?

Not sure mate, but you can get the shaped bands from Murphys, ask your local dealer to order them!

I'm sure you could find some kind of plastic substance that you could apply to a rubber band to do this. However, the cost would be considerably more than purchasing a ready-made one.
There are some things better left to the people who have the right tools to do the job. This is one. Making flash paper is another.

If you already know the trick, some places have 'refill' packets. These have more stars but no instructions (and cheaper price). pjstrickshop.com had some a while ago.
