Hi People,
My father had this great divination illusion consisting on two nesting boxes and four "cubes" with the numbers 1 through 4 on them (each cube 1 number). A person was asked to put the cubes (the numbers) in a particular sequence and inside the smaller box. Then the magician would put that box containing the cubes inside the larger box. After holding that box in the hands for a few seconds, he/she would voice the sequence. Do you know the name of this effect and a possible source for it? Thanks, QH. |

Commonly known as a Television Box. I can think of 3-4 methods that were used in creating this fine, old classic. Usually made from some nice woods, too. Nice prop, and very convincing effect in most of its incarnations. When you had to palm the c*****s to perform it...I didn't like that one.
