Hey everyone, how are you?
I've been working on a few ideas for different effects, and after seeing Cyril Takayama perform his finger jumping ring effect, I was stunned. I was familiar with the method behind mercuring, and didn't see how this one could possibly be examinable, but then I had an idea. Basically I've figured out a way to make an examinable version of mercuring that accomplishes the same effects that Cyril has performed. This is important though, to note that I have no intentions of marketing the effect, only building one for myself. Basically, the question I'm asking is where can I find someone who's skilled enough in metal and small parts to make a gimmicked ring? The gimmick isn't very intricate, but it would definitely require some skill to build. Thanks |

Hi Mike,
The easiest thing to do, would be to head into a smaller jewellers where they do ring setting, resizing and repaires on site. I've spoken to many jewellers this year (In preparation for a wedding) and it seems like htese guys can do anything! -Chris
