Hey,
I've seen some cool videos of people operating marionettes on the street and would really like to give it a go myself. Where can I learn how to make/buy a basic one and operate it in lifelike way? that's what really gets me about the vids, the thing looks like its alive. Thanks for any advice, Michael |

What part of the country are you in, and I can give you a recommendation or two.
This summer, there is a great in-depth puppetry festival in Trenton, MO. There is info at http://www.puppetfestival.org In short, there is a series of workshops through out the day, focusing on one aspect of pupppet theater, with performances and experimental performances in the evenings in a small, perfect for puppetry, theater. Good luck in your search! Pix |
