Ok I have this Video Now Jr. That I use as an assistant and one time I was using it to help me with red hammer.<-------- irrelevant information
Well I picked my victe I mean spectator and went through the shpeel, after the force and before the revelation I got a lot of Oh @#$%'s and No way's any way later that day I was privy to hear the following.

Man: That red Hammer thing he did was so stupid I got that in an e-mail years ago.
Woman: So what. Could you have made it so interesting?

I promptly walked up to her shook her hand and said "Thank you for being the reason magic is still alive."

It just goes to show that an over exposed trick can still play well.

That goes for about all of them. I believe firmly that there are no old tricks, only old audiences. And presentation is 90% of the game.
Will you walk into my parlour? said the Spider to the Fly,
Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy;
The way into my parlour is up a winding stair,
And I've a many curious things to show when you are there.

Oh no, no, said the little Fly, to ask me is in vain,
For who goes up your winding stair
-can ne'er come down again.
